Why do we care?
開始有點了解為什麼R總是有意無意提及那些發生在世界各個角落, 有點sad,但之於我們卻又不知該如何是好的事. 像是戰爭, 貧窮, 和不平等.
These days I kinda put myself into those newspapers and magazines (i.e. FT and The Economists), and I don't even know why I care. Like so many other people don't even give a damn what's happening on the other side of the world, then why do I bother to care? And why do I even read newspapers...
Why do I care if Madonna's gonna adopt a Malawian boy? Even it has made to the front page on almost every newspaper in the UK (not the FT though).
Why do I care if Mr.Kim threatened the rest of the world that there will be another nuclear test?
or how many people are gonna die from the war in Iraq?
I don't know...
But I do care...
